For The Place Retreats, Elena worked closely with the founder and authored the strategic and editorial foundation for the Balinese retreat, tasked with articulating a complex philosophy that blended spirituality, psychotherapy and holistic wellbeing. Her work encompassed brand positioning, narrative development and the creation of digital, video, print, PR and sales content.

Working on site and globally at sales shows, she collaborated closely with the team and select clientele, translating abstract, often ineffable wellbeing concepts into a coherent experiential language. She mapped the guest journey from sales and first contact to post-retreat integration, ensuring consistency between promise, experience and memory.

Her contribution extended beyond marketing into the shaping of the retreat’s ethos itself: defining how heart, body and mind were communicated, structured and felt. The result was a brand that spoke quietly but with precision to an international audience seeking transformation rather than escape.
